Does Star Wars: Dark Forces run on Windows 8?

SO: Windows 2000 / XP / Vista I use Vista so I doubt that a lot, but, maybe other guy with WIn 8 can help you much more than me.

8.1 too (64-bit). Sometimes it goes back to windowed mode, but pressing ALT + ENTER solves this problem.

It doesn't run natively anyway. It uses the DOSBox emulator, and once you update to version 0.74 and turn up the cycles, it runs perfectly. I've tried it on a crappy Windows 7 32-bit with 2GB RAM and Intel GMA graphics, worked just fine after some tweaks. It also works on my current "Bottleneck 9000," a Windows 8.1 64-bit computer with 4GB of RAM and an AMD R9 200 series graphics card.

You should have no problem running the game once you follow these steps:
