It could be played with mouse-look just perfectly great, IF it were ported like quite a few other older FPSs have been and are now ported and way playable, some of those games even older than this one! But we're all like waiting on that, I guess hehe heh hmm
Speaking of Doom: With ported, chocolate Doom, the mouse-look is as perfect as in any game, even one that came out like five minutes ago, no problem hehehehehe This player strongly recommends the ZDoom-based port GZDoom to port and play Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, Final Doom, Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders, Hexen: Heretic II, Strife: The Quest for the Sigil, and the three Chex Quest games.
By the way, Strife Veteran Edition is for sale here on Steam AND, like Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior (and maybe some others?), is sold already ported quite very well...the way we wish Star Wars: Dark Forces was sold, chocolate-ported (which means, among other specific things, with mouse-look/aim with mouse--keyboard-look/aim with keyboard is what dropped from the ass of a Bantha until the mouse [already invented nearly a decade before] came into common and standard usage), yes, please, would you kindly, yes!
Port Star Wars: Dark Forces! Port it well, yes! hehe hm hehe
