"Insert disk 1" message resolved
So I have figured out how to get Star Wars Mysteries of the sith to work.

All you really need is a disk drive.

I don't have one so I had used power iso virtual disk drive and the game works fine now. I hope this helps.

Here's a link to power iso http://www.poweriso.com/download.php

So you can right click any file and go down to Power iso. go over to number of drives and set how many you want, you only need one for the game to work though. after that you just boot up the game and play. Idon;t know how to fix the window screen issue though

Wanted to install this to make the game work, but it said it would continue to install anti-malware products and other items I do not wish to have.

I think that's optional

You can choose whether to install those or not. Try daemon tools as well if you don't trust poweriso. Just remember to uncheck all the boxes asking for installs unrelated to the disk imaging software like virus protection and system checks

I use Magic ISO virtual CD/DVD manager, but I also need help running this game. I bought it a few months ago and when I finally had the chance to run it goes to load up after clicking on the launch icon on my desktop and all I get is a black screen. During the black screen phase, I can't use any keyboard commands to back out into my desktop, so I'm forced to restart my computer by pressing the power button. Can some one please instruct me in what I am doing wrong?

Computer info:

OS: Windows 10 home 32 bit edition

Memory: 4GB, 2GB available

Brand: Dell Inspiron 620s

Graphics: Onboard graphics intel HD 2000

Processor: Core i3 dual core APU with hyper threading

Drive: 1TB Hard drive

I hope this info helps, I forgot to mention above that I have also tried going into properties and changing the Window compatibility settings and running it as administrator, but no luck.

Try going into steamapps/common/Jedi Knight Mysteries of the Sith and change the two executable game files within to run in reduced color mode (8 bit, 256).
