The solution is to have a CD drive installed only.

In regards to the JK CD 2 request, it only does that once to make sure you bought the original game. In regards to the whole thing though, Here is a no-cd crack that works, I used it and it worked. {LINK REMOVED}: Mysteries of the Sith v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD Patch
Valve, if you make a squawk about this as "piracy" I will personally come down to Bellvue and cave Gabe Newells head in. Shame on you for even selling this without providing the most basic support to make a playable.
Apparently Steam automatically blocks links from Game Copy World. ♥♥♥♥ you Steam, you really don't give a♥♥♥♥♥♥about ANY of your customers do you?
The no-cd can be found at Game Copy World, just Google "Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith gamecopyworld" and you should find it.

I don't know if it's because I am on 8.1, but this DOES NOT work for me. It ONLY works if I put my original CD in or if I use a no-cd hack.

WOW. I tried to contact Steam support for this game and was redirected. Valve doesn't support this. DISNEY DOES. I should've guessed. Leave it to them to do this to people.

Disney apparently does not support ANY of the Legends products they offer on Steam. REFUND!
