Conquest Dark

Question
Does projectile amount affect whirlwind like it does with spiked balls? There seem to be a finate number of swords inside the whirlwind but the tooltip does not stipulate a specific number (although the tooltip for spiked balls just says "2 balls" and not "2 projectiles")? If it does affect whirlwind, what about stuff like execute? Would 100% bonus to projectile amount make execute hit 2 enemies instead of 1 every second? Should it if not? :D

Whirlwind does not benefit from Projectile Amount and is technically AoE effect so you can for example increase its size with Area Reach.

The general rule is that if the tooltip has white number on it stating the amount of projectiles it can be increased. Projectile amount does not affect execute, but for example attack speed and instant attack chance does.

Ah very cool - so you can technically reduce the CD of execute considerably with attack speed increase? Any chance this could make an addition to an "abilities" tab that will outline every stat of each individual ability you have, in terms of it's current damage / attacks per second etc. ? Would take a lot of guesswork out of it - though now I"m tempted to again try a full execute / attack speed / instant attack chance build XD

EDIT: Also also - does instant attack basically proc on a hit or proc on any other ability or just a % chance every tick that any attack benefiting from it will get executed?

Also also also - do tier 1 2 and 3 upgrades on abilities affect other abilities or just the abilities they are attributed to? (so for instance, for example, would crit % on execute affect all crits, just for that one execute ability, or for all execute abilities you have?)

Yup, execute hits more often with higher attack speed.

Instant Attack procs each time the attack triggers. So for example each time Execute hits it has chance to hit instantly again. There's a small delay of 5% of the original cooldown so it doesn't hit during the same frame. Technically it's 95% CD reduction proc.

If the stat is blue it only affects the weapon or ability it is tied to so upgrades only apply to that specific ability. If it's green it affects everything.

I'll see what I can do to improve the stats UI, but it's not high priority atm.

Sweet thank you for the answers. Just one quick thing I'm still a little confused over - blue stats for that particular ability - would they stack if I have two or three of the same ability via items? Or just that one ability separate from other abilities - even if it's the same ability? (so for instance, would 2 or 3 executes stack their tier 1, 2, and 3 blue bonuses together for all executes? Or would there be three separate bonuses unstacked - one for each execute?)

Multiple executes/abilities will not stack/share their stats. So if you have for example two executes with both +25% crit chance (just as an example) both would have 25% crit chance instead of 50%. This is of course on top of all the base crit chance the character has from green stats.
