So did Asmongold just get a fuller demo?

Asmongold had a lot unlocked that doesn't seem to be accessible, or he has a different game build because he's got a great deal of selection and access to classes like the Thief.

Im not sure. I seen him load up another game save file but i wondered also i know i beat the first level with demo and unlocked more areas but i haven't been past 2nd stage yet. love the game for sure. I remember him saying sumtin about if we had any feedback and then he mention his game that him and a crew made the atomic picnic one. Im wondering if someone in his crew made that game....kinda would explain how he got more then a demo and wanting feedback for it.

How do the rest of us get access to that? Do you have a Kickstarter or Itch.io?

Asmongold said he was helping with the publishing. So I think he has a hand in game design, so he would have access to more of the build. Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong.

It's on steam, you have to wishlist it. Wishlisting helps the dev.
Supposedly you can buy the EA Q1 2025.

Should've put out the Early Access shortly before or after Asmon played the game, cause that was a massive advertisement. Unfortunately, most people will just see that it's a demo and ignore it, or play the demo and forget about it by the time the EA becomes available.

I think you are meant to wishlist it. Selling a few EA copies is not always the best tactic. Many companies build hype before releasing their game. It's also about placing well on steam charts.

Yup, I've played (and finished current content of) over a dozen swarm survivor-ish titles, so when I saw Asmo playing this one it went on my wishlist pretty much immediately.
Downloading and playing the demo was a secondary concern, and definitely appreciated, but playing a demo wasn't my goal when I looked up the game on Steam.

In my case the exposure accomplished its mission and got the game into my steam notifications that I'll see when announcements are made and EA is released in a couple months.
