I had like 250% Projectile Amount and 30+% Projectile Split Chance with 4 Burst Shots, there were arrows EVERYWHERE.

47 myself, and honestly I could have kept going, but that lag was obscene. With the new movement skill, and around 250% movement skill recharge, you can basically become unkillable outside of ground effects.

I also started noticing the lag around the same time, for some reason it seemed to get really bad when I was in range of enemies but it ran alright as long as I kept out of reach, I suspect it's tied to the enemies attacks somehow. I could probably have survived that wave too, but I didn't have nearly enough damage with my build to bring down the boss without losing my sanity.
Did the lag start right when Wave 12 started? If it happens again could you try turning off healthbars and damage numbers and report back if it goes away. There's definitely something odd going on with Wave 12+, but haven't yet figured out what's causing it.

My character level is a bit lower though, I guess I wasn't able to kill as many enemies this time, I mostly just outlived them with dodges. That last boss I killed took forever.
Fwiw, I don't see almost any lag until around wave 34+, and even then it's just small bursts until ~wave 40+. I tried turning off basically the entire UI except dodge counters, and while it helps a bit, the lag just gets progressively worse from there. I tend to end runs the 43/46 bosses because it's just constant stuttering by then.
Edit* Also of note, was running hunter with primal bow/chain shot/burst shot/blade dash, and 1 additional burst shot + 4 chain balls for armor passives, if it helps.

WAVE 53!!!
The Boss has 8.5x lives left.
Took ~20min to kill 2.5 of his lives, so not impossible, but would take over an hour.
So this build has wave 57 as the ~max-potential.
This was a real top-luck run, Maxed the 200% Rare item drops fast.
Then got top 75% items.
What would have made a giant difference is if I could have gotten:
- "Projectile Piece" instead of "Damage to injured" on one of my items.
- Also I only had 5% chance to "Freeze on Lunar Damage"...
- "Concentrated Shot" would have been much better than "Execute".
With the absolute perfect build getting to wave 57 or even 61 should be possible.
I don't think 65 is beatable if it is reached.

I think Bleed might need some fine tuning. It is a little too strong.
I had 590% reduction and 12.5% regen. And was barely balancing with healing orbs and dashes.
A ~25% scaling reduction in Bleed would be nice.
I'm curious what the Tick to Second ratio is in this game as:
- Health-Regen is measured in "Seconds"
- "Bleed" is measured in "Ticks"

Goals:
1) 200% "Chance for Rare Items"
2) Fast daggers + Mark Of Shadow(s) + Projectile Pierce + Freeze on Lunar damage.
3) Fast Daggers + (Luner)Axe Toss + Projectile Pierce + Freeze on Lunar damage.
4) One "Concentrated Shot" for TONS of energy for more Axe Tosses.
I didn't get all the build goals, but enough worm my way to wave 53.

Probably spent close to an hour fighting the wave 53 boss, I just wasn't in the mood to do that again at 57.
I also have a new PB for highest wave reached without losing any lives at 49.

The tick rate is reduced by your bleed resistance stat, you can see your exact time per tick on your character sheet.
65 on Hunter. Unfortunately by wave 54, lag get's bad when in a big group, which makes the Broodmother fight a killer, since the waves of spawns cause too much lag to properly see the ground effects, and since you can't dodge those, I ended up eating too many.

I'm almost certain that the lag when near big groups of enemies has to do with edge of darkness/dodging, i had millions of axes flying everywhere with no lag when not near mobs, but when they get close the game basically shuts down, it also seems to happen when repeatedly dodging ranged attacks
