It can get even more RNG, eventually have to settle with a set armor piece while trying to hold out for a desired passive ability attached to ideal armor... good luck with all the new build combinations to try.

It's more of a problem of people not knowing how to play Hunter, than the class being bad.

The way to play hunter is to somehow get barbarian skills and effects on them, the ranger does suck.

The only skill I take from Barb when playing Hunter in endless is Leap and only because other Movement skills aren't properly made. The main issue here is that Leap is best for escaping, other Movement skills don't allow you to move that far and don't seem to give as much protection.

That's really the only skill I care about when playing as Hunter. Here's my Hunter build with which I got to wave 44:

The only thing that kills my Hunter at this point is lack of enough hp to avoid my life being dropped in one-hit, but that may be alleviated by Dodge regen stat in the full version.

You're being ridiculous. If you people want to continue to argue that one class is better, than another simply because of one Movement skill being the best choice for endless mode for the time being, then maybe you should start a church and preach there.

I'm going to continue to play Hunter, because this class for the time being is better at fast killing and I'm only playing endless to farm Corrupted Soul Fragments for Altars anyway.

I completely agree with this, and it just seems Khavarum is being a contrarian for no reason and it's kind of baffling. I would love to see a hunter get to wave 40 without barbarian skills as well.

Are there only 3 dark rituals and 1 ground ritual enabled in the demo? I ask because I saw a video from Asmongold where the map has a lot more rituals to do.

I don't watch Asmongold so I can't comment on what version he's using, but there are only 3 rituals and endless mode in the demo, but the screenshot on the store page has more so it wouldn't surprise me if the dev has a much more fleshed out version that they're saving for later.

Got myself a new highscore with the hunter class.
hunter is so much harder for me to play. idunno why I'm always lacking something....
this run i only had 56 critrate because i didn't get it through the upgrades although i had it on my gear. also the resistance chance was low.

Got to wave 45. Boss on previous wave took me 32minutes 39seconds to kill - I timed it. Wave 45 boss was doable, but I simply gave up after 10 minutes of kiting him around for 1/2 of a single life. Gonna try to re-think my build, was starting to get physically painful holding down buttons XD

I just stumbled into this fun little game because I needed a break from farming in POE2....and yet here is this guy, farming in a demo of $5 throw away survivor game - but everyone else is crazy apparently lmao

Waves 40+ seem to be only doable if you roll the correct boss fights, they are just painful with the current build options. I dont think there is a build that can get much more progress without substantial time investment per boss.
