Conquest Dark

Online co-op?
Online co-op would for sure make this great, any plans on it in the future?

Or at the very least, couch-coop w/ remote-together implementation would be a great addition if online isn't planned. Thanks!

+1 for this. Both my wife and I played the demo and would absolutely love playing this together.

I can not see how this would work. First, the game constantly stopping so you can pick your skills is fine, but then having it to stop the game twice as much so your buddy can pick a skill would drive me crazy. Also if one person picks more movement speed, they would then collect more XP souls and thus level up faster, leaving the buddy behind to die from being under leveled.

Is there a single vampire survivor like game that does co op? So I can see how this would work.

Every one of these issues would be solved by simply sharing XP and leveling up at the same time. Pause until both people have chosen, then carry on.

Edit: The game "Bounty of One" does it this way, you can look up some videos on it.

Did that game ever finish the way you connect to each other?
Me and my buddies just couldn't ever join, tried so many times. (been a year though since we just gave up)

Why restrict us to vampire survivor games? There's plenty of co-op games where you fight together and get upgrades. What usually happens is the game doesn't pause.
Some games let you boost or slingshot one player and that develops into a proper strategy. Other games drop individual loot so there's no competition. None of the issues you bring up has not been solved by 100s of games before.

No need to stop playing if the game have a library about every skill/weapon.
They can make a near transparent windon "Press 1, 2, 3 for upgrade" with no tooltip, just easy to learn skills simbols.

Just sort Steam of any form of Roguelike with Online Co-op. There's a handful of games like this with co-op. They all do it differently whether it's by leveling at the same time, offering invuln and turning off weapons while a person is leveling up, or leveling at end-of level moments. The most common method is probably everybody selects at the same time and is on a timer while XP is shared.

EDIT: Because I forgot, Vampire Survivors is co-op.

*EDIT I was going to mention how XP would just be shared similar to games like it, but it seems others answered already <3
