Conquest Dark

Idea: Some boni when you max out all upgrades of one category
What do you guys think about the following:
To give an additional incentive to upgrade everything, why not give a (relatively small) bonus if you upgarde one category completly?

E.g. weapons: If you upgarde every single weapon to 10, increased primary attack damage by 20%.

If you upgarde every single primary ability to 10, increase primary ability damage by 20%

If you upgrade every single passive to 10, increase passive ability damage by 20%

If you upgarde all movement abilities to 10k, add +1 movement charge.

Pro points for my idea:
- It adds some incentive to upgarde everything to 10, increasing the amount of time you can spend with the game before you feel like you are "done". I still haven't unlocked all weapons e.g. But: I have a 2 handed sword. Not much point in upgrade the 2 handed axe as well. I have the weapon from the final boss - so not much point in upgrading the 2 swords, because the new weapon is just better. I prefer solar bow, so no much point in upgrade the other two bows.
If I get a little more damage if I upgarde everything, I feel more inclined to do it.

- very easy to implement for the developer - which is an important point. IMO my idea adds a nice bonus for long-playability, without taking much time and effort to implement.

- not too much power is added. My example is 20%. To compare it: The blood soul shrine that gives +all damage will give you 20% as well on lvlel 10. And the "adds damage to injured" increases the damage quite a lot as well.
Same with the fractions.
Yet another 20% bonus is nice, but not game breaker.

And the "20%" can be changed of course.

What do you think?

Seems like a harmless suggestion but how many people would it benefit? You and I are at about 50 hours into the game. This would take a looooot longer.

Edit: How about 5% for every 5 weapons or something?

That sounds like an even better idea!
Not "all or nothing", instead progression.

For the time being it won't make much difference to me, but in the long run it may actually be interesting addition if implemented properly.

For me the fact alone, that they're not maxed yet is an incentive, but having additional incentive is never a bad thing. :)

For me the incentive here is that they have different stats and therefore serve different purposes, that I may want to eventually experiment with.

i have 40 hours and could max out all weapons and one of the other categories if i wanted to but i'd rather save the resources for things i might actually use, so it's not that unreasonable

It's not a bad idea. I'll add it to my already long list of improvements and ideas for the future.
Awesome, I am glad that my idea is received well :)
