Anyway if I was cheating why wouldn't I have used 5 perfect gold gear pieces? While the passives from gold gear can be nice at the start, they pale in comparison to 2000% power ability damage modifier on armor that I had (it's multiplicative). Add dual wield cleave that has 500% reach + 500% attack speed and you start generating ridiculous amounts of energy per swing.
Being upset because people are bragging after using cheats doesn't change the fact that they have the right to use them (in single player) and everyone has the right to dismiss the claims of someone using cheats.
"Back in my day" cheats used to be programmed into games. I still have the muscle-memory to type [100% HP] and [give all guns] into GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas on a PS2 controller. It was fun and a great way to extend gameplay after game completion. Albeit bragging over accomplishments via cheating isn't "right" there's no reason to get upset over it...
The fact we are comparing scores means we are playing multiplayer, if you cheat your scores should be discarded. If a cheater does try to put their as legitimate it hurts the community.
