The game doesn't look like adult only game, try to remove the identificator.
Steam by default doesn't show adult only games to most people
And those who have Adult only turned on, doesn't look for this kind of game.

But you don't have to explain why chunks of meat fly off of your character exposing internal organs and bones? The gore of your own character initially shocked me way harder than shmeat hanging down to your knees. I'm agreeing with the sentiment that simply and non sexual nudity shouldn't be harder to explain than extreme gore to a child.

Gore is unrealistic enough to be just a thing from the game. It wont impress him in any way. He watched me play games with blood, splatters and things like that - its fantasy and he knows the difference. Tbh i find myself becoming more sensitive to such things over the years, when it comes to movies, for example. But games are still the same - pure fantasy.

Could always do what House Party did, make a DLC that enables nudity. You could either make it free or a $1-$5 which could add value over time. Though since you're making such a niche title maybe it wouldn't be worth it. If Vampire Survivors or other popular games were part of the similar game category might pick up more buyers down the road as well. If you got even a 1,000 sales and then half of them bought the Nude DLC for 5 bucks that's a $1,750 profit after Steam 30% tax.

I think the nudity DLC option is a trick other games use to get around that kinda stuff. But I'm not totally sure how it works.

Great, the adult only marker on this game is gone!
I was so mad that I couldn't wishlist the game in my country (Germany).
I still can't access the demo, btw, I hope that will be working soon.

I wonder if you can get around the adult tag by having fun with censoring. Like put an elephant head down below with different length trunks for the men and place some melons up top of varying sizes for the women. At least in the character picker menu. In the actual game you can't really tell when they are clothed are not even when get armor unless you're playing super zoomed in. And even then you're not really paying attention to the level of dress of you character as you're focusing on mobs and loots instead.

I remember in one anime where it centered around angels and devil going to high school in Japan and they had a scene were one of the Angel girls was walking around naked but everything was covered up because of the light bars and they stated it was the "holy light" passive that would auto hide her private parts so she never had to worry about being seen.

I personally like the nudity addition to the game it fits the barbarian vibe and it's nice to see. Options are always good though and it probably should be off by default
