How to play with an Xbox One controller.

Thank you very much for paying attention to my post. This time I posted this as I would have liked to ask, as in the title, about how to play this game with my Xbox One controller.
I've already got an adopter from Microsoft to connect the controller with my PC and added successfully on Steam. It's working so far so good with Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast, but not with Dark Forces 2. Whenever I activate the game, I'm compelled to play it with a keyboard and mouse. Could anyone tell me how to fix this?

I don't think Xbox One controllers are supported. They only released support for Xbox 360 controllers, which uses different input signals than the 360 for some functions. If you want to play this game with a controller, I highly recommend a Steam Controller. I got mine set up and working flawlessly, and can even select weapons/force powers through a radial menu.
