Star Wars: Droidworks

Anyone else remember or played the game growing up? The game where you can build your own droid and send them on missions to destroy the Empire?

It runs on the same engine (heck, some people managed to deploy the droids they built into DFII maps) so it'd be viable for Steam to add it.

Curious as to why they aren't able to port it, or if it's just lack of interest.

Any ideas? Or any interest to see if Steam can gain the rights and add it? I'd buy it again in a heartbeat (mainly because the copy I have won't work on my computer, even with a Win95 box).

I would love to see Pit Droids on Steam. The problem is all those games were aimed at kids and didn't get much attention. I mean it took YEARS for Racer to come to Steam even though everyone was clamouring for it. Your the first person I've ever seen ask for droidworks, so it's not worth their time to port it to modern OS. It's a shame, Pit Droids was awesome, and they could easily adapt it to sell on mobiles which I think would be quite popular but, you know, Disney.

I have already requested it for Droidwork. This game is my childhood and I can't find it in a French CD version. If he could put it on Steam, I for one would be happy to buy it !!!
