What's with the flower drawing puzzle?

I confess I had to look up a walkthrough to get past this one.

I had put the arrow drawing on the ring besides the heart, because Cupid? Turns out that one was right, but then I put the drawing with an eye under the eye, because of course, and it turns out that's wrong: the one with water goes here. I guess the water was actually tears, which come from eyes, and then the eyes one goes on the ring below the big face picture because... faces have eyes? But then the fire one goes in the moon room and that makes no sense at all. Moonlight is reflected sunlight and the sun is basically a fireball? That's too complicated for someone to come up with on their own, I think.

I've "solved" this puzzle, but the solution makes no sense to me and I'd like to understand it. Anyone have any ideas?

That's exactly how i tried to solve it first. The flower with an arrow was obvious, everything else was try and error. Well, for the eyes it would either be the flower with an eye or the flower with a tear. It could have been a symbol for water as well, that's why i put it first into the blue tinted room. But it's all just speculation.

Flower with eye - because the big painting is the same as the ones before, which were involved with the eye puzzle?
Flower with arrow - Because of the valentine heart?
Flower with tear - The eyes are crying?
Flower with fire - Because the room seems to be cold?

Weird puzzle. Besides of that... who comes up with the idea of putting some drawings into rings to make a light turn on? What's the meaning behind of that?

No, the hints are on the first sheet found (with skull on it). There are the four sentences, and "moon is burning" is why moon+fire.Get it?

Moon Logic Puzzles are not "stupid". They just require some logic thinking.. Also, these are simplistic in the realm of Moon Logic Puzzles

Fire and arrow are obvious, but I feel the other two either got lost in translation or had some terrible logic behind them. I even thought fire and arrow where supposed to be switched given how the clues themselves were written backwards.

Not sure why so many ppl are confused about this one, it's all pretty clear if you read the paper with the skull symbol and the four sentences

Love Is Penetrated = Flower with arrow -> Place at circle with a heart-shaped box

Men Are Watching = Flower with eye -> Place at circle with a large painting of a man, where if you stand in front of it looks like he's watching you

Moon Is Burning = Flower with fire -> Place at circle in front of window with the moon

Youths Are Crying = Flower with teardrop -> Place at circle with eye symbols, where the paint are dripping down making them look like tears

I get the feeling that some either completely forgot about the paper with the skull by the time they get the 4 flower papers, or they just straight up didn't bother to read it in the first place. I mean, the devs even added a drawing of a flower next to the 4 sentences as a hint to make it even more obvious

Wow, I have no memory of the paper. Either I didn't find it or I forgot about it.
