Thought exactly the same. There are not much games like this (Horror Anti-Sims). I always thought the idea of Ghost Master was great, but it felt too restricted with those special ghosts.

I really would like more games like this. I don't remember much of Ghost Master but I do remember it being fun.

Haunt the House Terror Town is also similar to this game. It's really fun. I've played it on the Vita but it's available on Steam too. I love the artstyle. I've never played Ghost Master or The Haunting.

Yeah pretty much this game looks like a poor man's Ghost Master.... though it certainly isn't priced like it.

Advice.. get Ghost master.. more scenarios, possibilities and humor.

without having played this game and not meaning to reduce its value, i think that's the problem with most indies today, they are far worse than the games they were inspired from, even if the originals were many years older.
and that's why i want all those clasics on steam, because they are usually much better than any indies today.

Yeah also getting the ghostmaster vibe. Deffo thinking about picking this one up as ghostmaster was awesome fun.

While they're similar, Ghostmaster and Poltergeist are two very different games. Ghostmaster can be described as a "haunting-sim with puzzles" while Poltergeist is more of a "ghost themed puzzle game". Ghostmaster offers more freedom in how your accomplish you goals on each stage while Poltergiest seems to have very distinct solutions for each level.

If you enjoy puzzles, Poltergeist is probably a good game for you, but don't expect it to offer the same freedom or variety of choices as Ghostmaster.

I'm not whinning, I just said it reminds me of a game I use to play a lot of. When it gets put on the Vita I'll probably get it.

Yep, this game has a very specific formula that's different from those other ghost games. It does remind me of another puzzle game I've played but I can't really place it. It's a bit like Micron in that but that's not what I'm thinking of... I think.

yes very true but what if
