Emergancy 4 Installing Mods

Hi, to give a little more information. I have downloaded the mod (London and Welfordshire), placed it in the mod directory and double clicked the mod installer. I have then located the mod and it says

“There appears to be a modification with the same name installed. Can’t install modification. Remove or rename the existent modification folder in order to install the modification package.”

I have renamed and deleted any other files I have found and so far haven’t managed to install any mod successfully so not sure where to go now.

Please help if you can.

you should not place the .em4 mods in there it will register them as a mod altough they don't work so you should place them in another folder and then use the mod installer on them

Thanks Koekiegast. Turns out the london mod v1.3 is corrupt. Managed to install a few others though. Yay!

London Mod v1.3 shouldn't be corrupt. I suggest re-downloading it, because it does happen often that mod downloads don't finish completely.
