Is gameplay fun?
Can someone tell me little more about the gameplay of the game?
Is combat fun or it gets boring fast? Is it just one button mashing? Do you need to think and have a strategy to beat the bosses or you just hit anywhere?
Are there puzzles to solve?

No puzzles that I can remember if you count the 9 rivers level in Nifelheim, combat is pretty simple, 2 attacks, a light that has 2 swings and a nasty reset time, and a heavy attack that has a decent build up but worthy pay off. There is a roll dodge as well as an attack after the roll if you choose so(only in direction of roll)

No body parts to worry about hitting just hit the bosses until they die and dodge their attacks.

Honestly the game is great, very atmospheric and a joy just to look at as long as listen to, only complaint is that it seems pretty short, akin to Titan Souls, but with an ACTUAL story/background for your character.
Hi, im gonna try to answer the best way i can (bad english), but here it goes:

The Combat is simple, but it's fun without a doubt. You can attack and dodge, you only have 3 attacks: Heavy (Triangle/Y), Light (Square/X) e Dodge Attack (Press Light Attack right after dodging). Besides these basic moves you have the God's Blessings (Circle/B), you have 5 powers and they give you advantages such as: move speed bonus, more damage to heavy attack, shield that make you invunerable, heal and the other one i forgot!

The combat system doesn't get boring becuse you don't use it as much as other "hack'n slash games", if you don't know yet the game is divided in two parts: exploration and boss fights. Prior to every boss fight you have to go into 2 levels, every map has one god shrine (where you can get new powers or upgrade a power you already have) and one golden apple (increases your max hp by 10%). In these maps all you do is exploration and puzzles, the puzzles are very cool and unique based upon the "nature" of the level, sometimes is just how to travel without dying, others you have to think, and most of them you have to be careful to not lose yourself. When you finish both levels, getting one rune from each, you get to open the boss area where you will fight the Jotun (Giant) of that region and then you have to fight him using everything i said before. The cool part is, every giant is different, since they are like a encarnation of the 2 levels prior to them, they use the puzzles/dangerous of the levels against you, they have everything the 2 levels had as powers. So the 2 levels actually teachs you how to fight them, but even so you're going to die a lot, becuse you have to learn attack paterns, you need patiente to know when to attack and you have to learn every time you die, learn how to improve yourself next time!

combat is a minor element of Jotun, the game is mostly about exploration and dipping in the mythical norse atmosphere

normal attack and slow charge up heavy attack and a dodge. so its like dark souls but with zero customization and no back stabs or blocking and magic is limited to buffs pretty much

only like 5 bosses no fighting inbetween bosses

the game could use some mods to allow for things the developers didnt put in the game but its probably all in non modding friendly file formats

I spent 45 minutes before being bored out of my gourd due to the games snail-slow pace. I also love viking mythology btw..
Devs spent all their time getting the looks and sound right (which they definitely did) but seem to have forgotten about actual gameplay design in the process.

It took me like 80 minutes to beat the first boss. Apparently she can be cheesed.

Whoops.

You're just not that good, but that's okay. :) Fun is in the eye of the beholder, or the one who holds the controller. For me it totally depends on my mood. I'm not always into puzzles or atmosphere games and that's when I choose not to play it. Tonight I was and I had a good time exploring, doing some fairly simple exploration puzzles and beating a Jotun (Fre?). There's optional (?) spells to be collected in the enviroments you traverse to get the runes to challenge the Jotun's and also Apples that increase your life pool. Seems mostly optional, but they do seem to make your life less miserable. If you're expecting a fast pace, hack and slash type of game with an XP meter and tons of upgrades, you're looking at the wrong game. If you enjoy FANTASTIC graphics, great sound and music and a, well, experience, this is the game for you.

Forgot to add: You just smack the bosses to damage them. Your attacks do very little damage and their health pool is gigantic. At the start of a battle, you feel like you can take down this giant fool, but they have several phases and near the end when your resources start to drain but their HP pool isn't, things start to get intense. You don't run fast and your attacks aren't super quick either, so it's all about timing and learning patterns. Boss fights are few and far between it seems, but they are amazing.

feels more like visual focus game, they take so much time expand camera see animation of boss's u can barely see your character do anything, combat very "simple" movement is ultra slow yes u carry big axe, that shouldn't be reason u can't sprint
