Progression: You can pick up apples to increase ur max health, and there's like 6-7 different multi charged skills u can use, mainly against bosses.
Replay value.. Honestly, nothing.
I liked my 6 hours with the game, but I have absolutely no reason to go back and play it again.
They will release newgame+ sometimes, that might change things, who knows.
If you like what you see in the screenshots, you can always give it a go. If you're unsure about the game after fighting the first of the game's bosses, feel free to just ask for a refund. Most players reach Jera in around 20-30 minutes, which leaves you plenty of time to decide if you feel this game is worth your hard earned money (Steam gives you 2 hours of playtime to ask for it).
Either way, thanks for checking it out!
And im tired of braindead shooters, with oh so innovative multiplayer and softporn dating simulators swarming the market.
This game is pure gold and it can be clearly seen that devs put their heart into it.
It's short, but it's a sweet ride into norse mythology - with some really well done hand drawn visuals, great voice acting and atmospheric soundtrack. It's just a great package overall.
To the OP - I was thoroughly exploring and enjoying the experince so far, I'm at the storm jotun now, and it took me 4 hours. There are still several zones to visit, and that's without replaying every boss battle for achievements. I should say that the boss battles are absolutely glorious - each boss has it's own mechanics that make the fight interesting and unique.
