Cheat codes? God Mode?

I love the art direction, narration and general atmosphere of this game, but I'm hopeless at action/arcade games and find them insufferably frustrating. I'd like to be able to play my way through this game in a stress-free way with some sort of god mode on (pardon the pun). Does such a thing exist? Google searching turns up nada... :)

Unfortunately no. However as the bosses do not block progression and the rest of the game is quite easy, you can see a good 95% of it without issue (which in turn make the first 3 bosses trivial). But I understand this is less than ideal.

Im fighting with the final boss for 3 hours Im looking for some cheat or something just to beat this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss fight Im sick of dying to idealessly designed boss with only 1 speacial move this is not fun just show some mercy

You would have LOVED Sonic the Hedgehog. The boss fight involves you being completely invincible. And it's still impossibly hard to beat.
