[BUG] Font and polish diacritic simbols.
This is tech problem. There is a font used ingame, that font does not seem to support polish diacritic symbols (those indicate some unique sounds in polish language like 'ć' 'ś' 'ą')

So what needs to be done, is the font file update. The proper coding is there, the missing symbols are taken from Arial (as a fallback rule i believe) Someone needs to edit and update font for middle eastern eurpean language. Mainly Polish, but possibly others too.

Yes you are correct that Arial is the fallback font, ideally we would have found a better fallback or switched font completely for polish. Either that or update the 2 major font we used for the game.
1. I work as QA tester - this is my profession.
2. I am an artist (I enjoy the art in the game so much!) So i draw stuff. Im an illustrator as part time job.

I have a proposal for you guys.
I can make or edit your font for it to comply with at least Polish (maybe all middle eastern lang.). I would need a deadline and design rules for that font to make it work. Free of charge. If it works you guys will just need to switch font files for your next build.

Id love to contribute for two reasons:
- I need to get my basics in typography for my portfolio.
- I bought your game dirt cheap on steam, and had audacity to post a problem with font.

Unfortunately the license for the fonts we used don't allow us to modify them. But thanks for the offer, it is very kind of you!
I dont want to take too much of your time - so dont respond to this if you dont feel the need.

I can propose different solution for you guys:
There is a typeface called Lato ("Summer" in Polish) - it is reproduction of classic print font that was created around 1950 in Poland.

It is very classic barebone font that utilises 45 degrees, so it can delicately resemble runes but is very humble in overal aestethic.
Its availible for everyone under Open Font Licence with help of Google. Redone in digital by a great designer.
http://www.latofonts.com/lato-free-fonts/

The site states:
The fonts can be used without any limitations for commercial and non-commercial purposes. They can be also freely modified if the terms of the license are observed.

Check it out. You can flat out use it, or edit it to suit your style better depending on licence.

This could solve a problem, and even save some of your time. :)

That's true for the "runic" font, which is used on the death screen, place names and few times in a menu.

But the main font – Quicksand – that is used for subtitles, is freely available on Google Fonts on the Open Fonts Licence and the version there has Polish characters! I think Polish players would be really grateful for an update :)
