secondly how do i get this skill? Do i need to ultimate finish or just kill normal gohan

And, if you're having trouble with that you get Ultimate Finish by transforming Vegeta and Gohan (still chance based after that). Vegeta can be tricky if you don't know how it works. You need to get him to basically half health. He'll say a line about using his new move on you. Shortly after that Trunks will appear (it's time based on the line so you can stop hitting Vegeta at this point to help him survive you dealing with Trunks). Defeat Trunks before Vegeta and he will then transform. Defeat him after that.

Same thing with Gohan - defeat Goku first. Good luck.

It is hard to get ultimate finish because Vegeta and Gohan are suicidal, and keep jumping in front of your attacks. I used Hellzone Grenade spam as a super saiyan to keep hitting the specific one I wanted to hit while ignoring the other. One the bright side, Super Dragon Flight is worth it, it has super armor, comes out fast, good damage, good horizontal movement, and vertical movement, with great tracking. I have found it more versatile than evil whirlwind and shining slash. EW is better on defense, and SS is better on offense against runners, but SDF is good at both.

If you are a striker, evil ray strike is great at singling out targets, hits hard and also has i-frames.

Indeed the mentioned method is the correct method. Get Veggie to half. Wait for Trunks. Wash and dry Trunks. Eat Veggie. Go for Carrot and crybaby twerp and splat Carrot against a wall to make crybaby twerp transform into RageGuy. Kill everything else. Profit.

Evil Rise Strike is the one you want to use, not evil ray strike.
The angles are about the same (evil rise might be a bit shorter range) but evil rise strike is faster and actually hits harder. You can cap off a combo with it.
It's a very strong attack for how early you can get it, especially if combod with Meteor Crash, which when fully connected does Ultimate level dmg.

The attacks are a bit lacking in style though, which super dragon flight and Super God Fist (which does about the same damage as Evil Rise Strike last I checked) have in spades.
