New characters revealed, a Season Pass announced and more villainous characters unveiled: DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE keep on aiming higher than ever!

Omega Shenron and Gogeta SS4 confirmed to join DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE roster, isn't that great?!!!

The list of characters turned into villainous mode by Mira and Towa just got longer as Gotenks, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Androids and even the Great Apes are now confirmed! The two foes took their mischiefs even further by making Vegeta join the Ginyu Army…

You want more? Good because we are happy to announce a super-charged Season Pass is containing 3 different amazing DLC Packs for all Dragon Ball fans wishing to extend their experience. Here is a preview of the content:

DLC Pack 1 (Available in March 2015): 3 playable characters: GT Goku, Pan & GT Trunks; 4 Time Patrol quests; 12 Quests; 15 New Special Moves for the players’ avatars; 5 new costumes

DLC Pack 2 (release date to be confirmed later): Exclusive Playable Characters, Quests, Special moves and costumes

I don't really know how to feel. I don't care about the characters in the least bit but which special moves are DLC? Is it indeed content that was cut out or is it actually unfinished stuff? I don't mind the extra GT themed quests being DLC.

A few of these GT characters were supposedly datamined, so those were at least "taken out" of the base game. I don't know about the quests and special moves, although it makes you wonder considering the first DLC is releasing a month after the game launches. Either the game has been done for a while and they were already working on the DLC or they decided to pull a fast one to get DLC out faster and make people feel like there is new content coming sooner.

So far the chances are a lot higher that magic pole/sword will only be used for specific finishing/ultimate moves. With the exception of Future Trunks who has his entire fighting style around swordfighting this time. I'd love to be able to learn Future Trunks his fighting style for my custom character but still kinda in doubt about it being added.

Also people complaining about DLC, don't get it if you don't like it. I won't buy it right away but if Xenoverse is as fun as I am hoping for it to be then sure the DLC will be bought by me eventually.
