Using a PS3 controller?

Hey, I'm considering buying this game but only if I can use my PS3 controller.

works fine for other games like dark souls but I wasn't sure if the previous gen controllers are compatible with this game.

I personally dont use a ps3 controller but you will probably need something like motionjoy or the like to use it.

My friend uses a ps3 controller but im not sure what he does to get it to work.

I use a 3rd Party PS3 controller to my PC, which is just a direct input device. Afterglow PS3 Controller is what I use. MotionJoy or similar programs to mimic X360 input would work too. Most games are more geared towards M$'s controller for some stupid reason, and this game is no exception.

That's what I use as well for my PS3 controller as well.

Just don't use the "regular" DS3 program. It doesn't save settings, requires an internet connection, and it's an ugly green color.

Better DS3 is...well...better in every way.

Any only issue is remembering what button is what, unless the game has a PS3 Button mod.

Yeah, 'better ds3' is the one im using.

I just use the xbox 360 controller profile. Works fine.

I use the same, works like a charm for DBX. Only issue I ever had was when my usb cord got lose, otherwise it works with no problems. Just set it as a xbox controller in Better DS3.

I use scpserver to emulate my PS3 controller as an xboz controller, works fine.
