SSJ God 2 Goku vs. Beerus

Has there been any word about exactly how much stronger Goku's new transformation makes him? Would he be able to legitimately beat Beerus in a fight, or is Beerus still stronger than him? Just curious.

the blue haired form, is basicly the super saiyan form of the saiyan god form. it isn't ssj god 2.
but i think goku or vegeta would still lose.

I believe I read somewhere that the new transformation isn't entirely related to Super Saiyan God, despite the name. It is just Super Saiyan, but it has been altered due to Goku and Vegeta training with Whis and apparently gaining access to their own god ki.

I know what it is. I simply referred to it as "SSJ God 2" because "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" sounds stupid to me.

Rewatch the movie. Beerus never used his full power against Goku.

ssj god 2 goku? lol.. pretty sure they only transform to regular super saiyan... considering the form he fought beerus in wasn't a super saiyan god... they were all boasting saying he was, but he really wasn't, he only briefly became a god... that's it.. it was his normal form in god mode. in the movie, you'll see him turn into a super saiyan god

i believe beerus used no more than 70% of his power and was slapping god goku up so yeh beerus still stronger and whis stroger than beerus if i recall correctly

Wouldn't be surpised to see "Revival of C" with a pink Cell and a full rainbow of super saiyan gods.

Its kinda sad DBZ is focusing so much on Saiyans. Saiyans here, Saiyans there.. oh look Super Saiyan God and wait for it... Super Saiyan God 2!!! Its ridiculous. I mean i love DBZ but i like DB much more because it wasnt so overpowered and Master Roshi was the damn King! And of course the most important; No Saiyans (except Goku but it was unknown)

He will even grow his mustache back so it will change color too.

In the Manga 7 pure saiyan gave their power to goku and beerus went at him.over and over and he lasted quit a while. The power was endless until it wore off. After it wore off he kept most of the speed and strength . Lared him.and vegeta go train with whis and whis unlocked some.portal.and they learn to transform into the new form . Its a very powerful form we won't know it's limits until the manga tells us all this is speculation .

Alright. There seems to be a lot of confusion about what SSJB is. I'll break it down.

Goku's "SSJG" form in BoG was temporary and could only be accessed by doing the saiyran ritual. He retains the power even after losing the form and Whis helps him master it. Vegeta also gains "SSJG" due to his furious mutation when fighting Beerus. This permanently also increases his base form power level and Whis also helps him master it.

In RoF, Goku and Vegeta in their base forms have the power of a SSJG (the form Goku had in BoG). Some lore buffs call the form "beyond God" as their auras are white due to mastering the form. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (now Super Saiyan Blue) is nothing more than Goku and Vegeta going Super Saiyan with their new "beyond God" base forms.

Instead of the traditional yellow-gold hair with green eyes, it's now blue because they fully harnessed the power of a super saiyan god and mastered it. As far as could Goku beat Beerus in SSJB? No. SSJB wasn't powerful enough to beat Frieza in his Golden form. The only reason Goku and Vegeta ultimately won was because Frieza couldn't sustain the form.

If SSJ1 still works as a multiplier, then SSJB is merely x50 more powerful than fully mastered SSJG, or "beyond God," which is Goku and Vegeta's base form now. That would suggest Goku and Vegeta are still far off from beating Beerus. They couldn't even touch Whis when they were both in their new base forms with the power of a SSJG.

The only way I could see Goku and Vegeta surpassing Beerus or Whis in power level is by fusing into either Gogeta or Vegito. RoF hinted at the fact that Goku and Vegeta would be unstoppable if they just worked together. Whis, Beerus, and Goku all mention it during the movie, so it's very likely Dragon Ball Super will see the return of fusion in order for Goku and Vegeta to overcome any obstacle.
