DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE

Wonder why nobody mentions burning attack
Considering as long as it is set up with another super or an attack that locks the enemy in some form, it is really useful in ki combos.

It's more useful in PvE, but anything can be. Still, I don't see much use in it if attacks still allow recovery from them. You can easily any setup that burning attack could've done.

That, and big bang does more damage as well being able to stun from the front, a far better follow up. That's what supers are to me. EDIT: follow ups to your normal combos, otherwise you usually just miss.

I guess, i haven't really got to using it in pvp. In PvE however, basic combo-> gravity impact -> burning attack -> perfect kamehameha oneshots a bunch of stuff.

I feel like that's not actually a one-shot.

Technically yeah, its not. I mean in a combo perspective, not something like a sphere of destruction one shot. Its kinda fun though, comboing ki moves in pve.

Still think it has too many openings anyway. not many skills are useful, like tri beam. While it could be powerful, it can take too long to get a high power on it.

All things considered, I guess gravity impact is really op considering it opens up a large window for so many opportunities and uses - the burning attack usage I have mostly comes in after using it, after all.

Then again its probably just me having a huge fanboyism for trunks's moves, considering i liked future trunks a lot when i first read dragonball.

I still use the slash moves on my human male char.

Pretty much this for me. Supers, particularly Ki Supers, are very good at being reasonably-high-damage followup attacks, and tend to be hard to use effectively on their own, with a few exceptions (Death Beam is pretty good on its own, but even that works superbly as a followup).

Once Big Bang Attack got into my arsenal, it's never left my Ki users for very long. It's just so great at doing a solid finish to a pursuit combo, since you'll start it as they're hitting it after you've teleported, and you'll get a bunch of hits in just from that, and then you send the projectile on its way, which does even more to the already-being-hit enemy. Outside of using it in a combo like that, BBA isn't really all that good. Decent damage, sure, but you need to actually connect with it.

The thing is, most other skills push the enemy further away, while burning attack throws them into the sky. Against PVE I've fought future trunks a few times and spamming the space key to try and tech out of it, but it just doesn't happen fast enough before i get hit by another key blast due to the up-rising thing staying there for quite some time.

I still can't prove anything till I try it in PvP, but woefully my timezone and area has a huge lack of players.
