DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE

Can anyone help me? I'm confused about Stat and ultimates!
Ok,i don't understand anything anymore!I thought before that if you go with ultimates and want it full power you need to spend 100 points on ki blast supers, and you boost your ultimates strongly. But what about strike supers? Does it need to be boosted if you just go with ultimate,or for ultimates ki supers is enough to boost to max?
What are your stats strong players?
I've realised a few times that ppl come here and saying: "try this, with this soul and this mentor you kill everyone, its just 1 or 2 shots and mission done" ( for example i tried the pq52 mission with the blue hurricane, should be used 1x / ape,i have to use 4-5 times sometimes..
same with sphare of destruction...so something must be really really wrong with my stats..
Also what about clothes?i Love Bardock clothes but it holds the ultimates back (-5 ki blast supers) which is really sad. :/

So just to confirm:
max ki:you have more ki,so you can have more attack without charging
strike supers:the small super attacks, like galick gun ?
ki blast supers:ultimate right?

But if ki blast supers, how comes for example that for sphere of destruction you have to use "here comes payback" soul but that soul seems to boost strike supers while ki blast is minus points?? WTF??

I don't understand anything anymore.. Somebody can explain this to me please??

Supers and ultimates are split into 4 catagories: strike, ki blast, transformation and other. The strike supers stat increases all supers and ultimates that fall under the strike catagory. The ki blast supers stat increases all supers and ultimates that fall under the ki blast catagory.

As for the 'Here comes payback', the bonus to sphere of destruction, I gather, is so great that it negates the loss of ki blast supers stat and still increases it. Though any other ki blast attacks will be weakened, for it.

Ok,i must be so numb i don't understand basic english ( i'm hungarian by the way,so that's why): what exactly strike mean? it means the hits, right?if i punch you in the face or kick you thats a strike right? Do we even have strike ultimates??
and blast means like kamehame.
What about the balls? Like sphare of destruction?Or deathball?or wanishing ball?

Yes, strike essentially means to hit someone. There are 6 strike ultimates in the game if I remember correctly. Your light and heavy attacks are not increased by strike supers though, but by the basic attack stat.

Kamehameha is actually a wave attack. But all blasts and waves etc go under the ki blast supers for the sake of stats. You can tell the difference looking at the picture next to the skill, all ki blasts have that little blue beam icon. Whilst strikes have some white lines of sorts, not sure how to explain it. You can also change catagories to show just ki blast attacks.

Look at the icon.

If it's a white segmented circle, like a small explosion it's a strike skill.
If it's a blue beam it's a blast skill.
Alright, thank you for your answer.so for example blue hurricane has that white explosion icon,so that means it is strike attack, right?
While the destruction one has that blue blast icon,so that is only affected by ki blast supers?

Yes
Ok,the picture is more clear now.. so the question still:enough to boost only the ki blast supers for blast attacks only? The big balls attacks like vanishing ball are blast attacks right?
And the clothes? I can't go with bardock's suit to get full dmg if i use for example super vanishing ball?

Correct. Something I hate, because there is no gi currently that boosts basic attacks and strike supers...

I just realised how dumb i am.. i'm ashamed.. just realised the game even says it..when you click on that skill the game says "strike skill" (blue hurricane) or "other" or "transformation' or "blast skill" -.- Shame on me.
Thank you for explaining this to me tho.
Deinonychus the bardock suit 5+ for the strike supers-if thats what you're after.

Yeah I use the Bardock's costume at the moment, but I'd prefer something more like Goku's clothes with +5 basic attack/strike supers. Doesn't seem to be in yet if planned at all!

And glad to help clear up the misunderstanding :)
1 more question i have: which button do you need to hold down to do more dmg for ultimate attack? when you launch final flash for example?

Ultimates don't charge.

Ki Blast Supers is both Super Ki attacks (blue beam symbol) and Ultimate Ki Attacks (blue beam symbol)

Strike Supers is both Super Melee Attacks (white circle symbol) and Ultimate Melee attacks (white circle symbol)

Attack is your basic attacks, punching, kicking, throwing, and the minor ki blasts you shoot when you hold down the B/O button. (xbox 360/PS3) These are the attacks that do NOT consume ki or stamina to use.

Ki controls how much Ki you can store up, the number of your yellow ki bars.

Health controls how long the orange bar of your health is.

Stamina controls how many green bars of stamina you have.

Ultimates and Supers do not typically charge, but some attacks do more damage if you hold the button down. These are specific to certain individual moves, not a mechanic in general. An example of this is meteor crash. Metero Crash does more damage when you hold the button down, most moves don't. It is a super, not an ultimate. Kamehameha, Evil Explosion, and Galick Gun have a similar mechanic, but with the downside of greater risk of being knocked out of the attack, rather than additional ki drain.

Do you have any additional questions?
