DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE

how to start a new story mode from scratch?
have read that disabling steam cloud, deleting all the games files, and reinstalling the game would restart the come completely but it didnt work, whats the actual way to just start from nothing again?

i have to ask, why do you want to start over from scratch when you can make a new character, go back to the Time Nest and do the story quests all over again?

hmmm, if i had a gamble, i'd say delete everything that is DB X related, reinstall but after you reinstall, start the game in offline mode and do no reconnect till after you complete the prolouge perhaps?

You can delete your own save on(roughly) C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\<account number>\323470\remote, the exact path changes from person to person, but you should be able to find based on that, keep in mind that you have to be SURE you want to do that, because, well, you will be deleting your file, everything will be gone.

They could just rename it to "remembermebruh.sav"

Well, they could make a backup I guess, so yeah there is that alternative.

In order to restart/start over from scratch you need to delete your save game. Go into your Steam Folder in your program files and look for a folder that has userdata. Enter the userdata folder and click on the folder in that. Then run a search for DBXV.sav. NOTE: MAKE A BACKUP OF THAT FILE INCASE YOU WANT TO USE IT AGAIN. Delete the DBXV.sav and load up xenoverse. It should start a new game with the basic skills.

Not to be nitpicky, they could just rename it instead of making a backup and then deleting it. XD

I had similar issues but may I ask, Have you tried walking into the time vault, they don't really tell you outright but if you walk into the time vault(Large building with a tree growing out of it) it should go to a transition and let you play the story again.

Make a new steam profile > Family Share > Profit

That is actually being incredibly nitpicky, since it's basically the same action, just with different keystrokes. ("Right click > rename" for one, "CTRL+C > CTRL+V" for the other)

You have to delete the 323470 folder in your steam common and after this you have to deactivate the cloud saving in your steam libary

Delete 323470 folder
Put your cloud system off ,
