Is Frieza Race the official name?

I always thought they were called Changelings. Or is that something fans made up?

You do know that adding "-jin" to a race isn't exclusive to Dragonball, right? As far as I know, in Japanese, you put "-jin" at the end of someone's nationality/race to say that that person is part of that group. For example, if a Japanese guy is talking about an American, he'd call him "Amerikajin" or something similar.

That's also partially why in the Malaysian dub all the saiyans describe themselves as "Saiya People".

Yeah, that "-jin" suffix stands for people, so translations like "Saiyans", "Namekians" and "Tsufurians" are pretty spot-on.

But, that dialog in japanese literally says 'your race'.

It's a localization 'error'.

That is the name they use in the Webcomic Dragon Ball Multiverse. So I asume they have some source to back it up. Too lazy to ask them right now.

Also Cell will call your "Freeza Clan" a frost demon in the english Voiceovers/subtitles.

Point me to some interview or line of dialogue to clear things up then. The only time I have seen them referred to Freiza Clan is in the Dragonball Heroes card game. But that is also the only time I have seen any kind of "official" mention of their racial name.

I like Arcosians best personally. When you have 18 as a master she mentions that Frieza was a good businessman and how she is disappointed that you don't know about that or not. And then when you have Frieza as a master he does mention the 'business' of invading and selling off planets when you talk to him occasionally. Arcosians are the race that makes up that trade organization, so it makes sense to me at least.

I got one more question. Was it ever offically stated that they have only one gener like the Namekians? Or is it just that since no Arcosian female was ever shown the devs couldn't include them?

What are you going on about? I said I highly doubt their race is called that since the manga even shows one of Frieza's ancestors when Bardock got thrusted back in time. The only reason I stated that is because Toriyama stated Xenoverse was canon from what I keep hearing. Most of the characters in the game keep saying "Frieza's Clan". That could just be a translation error or limited in what could have been chosen.

Bardack never go back in time, that's a non-canon manga that is not made by Toriyama and is in conflict with both the manga, the anime and DBK.

It was made by Ooishi Naho, so just forget it, it is irrelevant. And like I said, nothing except fan made name this race, because there are only two guys from it (three if Cooler become canon thanks to a movie made 10 years later ... and well, I would love if Toriyama was out of DB once and for all ...). At best they can be considered the same as Ginyu and his group, mutants.

As for Frieza's race, Toriyama probably has an official name for them, he just never revealed what it is.

That's pretty interesting. What gender Frieza is perceived as seems to change with the dub. I grew up on the German dub and Frieza's voice in that one is like:
