Super Sayjin is more Strike super based and melee
the 2nd form of these transformations are stronger then the first ones but they lose more ki then a regular ssj
Yeap i knew it. But Super Vegeta without transformation has better base stats then Super Vegeta 2 lol... :/
For Farming, PQ, etc=Super Vegeta 2 (CPU is not that smart so you don't need to consume less Ki, so you go straight on full power)
Same thing for SSJ\SSJ 2
Statistically speaking, SSJ2 and Super Vegeta 2 are superior to their counterparts. Why some would argue they are "worse" is because the percentage boost isn't that significant and the ki drain is faster. Ultimately, it's purely a subjective call as it depends on your build and what you are going for. I know for myself, I only use Super Vegeta 2 as a last resort, as I'm a melee build and not a ki spammer.
It's my trump card in case all else fails, so I'm not really worried about how long or the duration, because if I go Super Vegeta 2 and use my ultimate, nine times out of ten I will win. I think SSJ and SSJ2 are absolutely worthless. If you want to do melee damage, use kaioken, which is far superior to SSJ and SSJ2. You also get to stamina spam until you run out of stamina, which would be more useful to melee builds.
That isn't subjective, it is objective as the decision is based on optimizing specific sets of numbers to obtain a specific outcome.

Super Saiyan/Vegeta vs. Super Saiyan/Vegeta 2
Super Saiyan increases Strike damage by 3% and Ki damage by 1%
Super Saiyan 2 increases Strike damage by 5% and Ki damage by 2%
Both reduce damage taken by 10%
Super Vegeta increases Ki damage by 3% and Strike damage by 1%
Super Vegeta 2 increases Ki damage by 5% and Strike damage by 2%
Both decrease Ki damage taken by 10%
Both 1st forms increase Dash distance by 10%, both 2nd forms by 15%
And both 2nd forms do have a noticeable increase in Ki draining speed, you'll probably get an extra ultimate or few supers out using the first form at full Ki charge which in turn probably deals more damage total.
Super vegeta 2 has 2% more damaging ki blasts in comparison to Super Vegeta, but it drains energy faster. The fact it drains energy faster means you can cast fewer ultimates in comparison to Super Vegeta. The ability to cast more ultimates vastly outweighs the 2% increase in damage per attack.
Super Saiyan 2 and Spper Vegeta 2 also have movement advantages over Super Saiyan/Super Vegeta, but these aren't particularly useful to ki blasters, who typically just stand still and spam ultimates over and over again. The movement increase is really only useful for melee builds, who use it to chase after an opponent they knockaway to combo them again before they recover.
Super Vegeta is more oriented towards ki blasters, Super Saiyan is more oriented towards melee, in terms of damage bonuses. Hence, because Vegeta exists solely for ki blasters, the movement speed bonus is useless, and the ability to cast more ultimates per transformation outweighs the 2% increase in terms of overall damage, making Super Vegeta more useful than Super Vegeta 2.
