Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta vs Beerus

So who do you guys think would win here? I don't want to hear non canon crap.

Unfortunately we didn't get to see the extent of Gogetas power. And his fusion is supposed to last 30 minutes but as we have seen they are super saiyan 4 and that drastically cuts the time.

BUT pretending the fusion has no limit who would win then?

I vote for Gogeta.

If GT is an alternate timeline to the main one, and the split to that happens BEFORE the events of Battle of Gods(which would make most sense, as there are no mentions to SSJ God in GT), GT Goku wouldn't have the partial god powers BoG Goku now have.

The series is set up as a continuation to the main story. Thats how they wrote it.
People can argue that its a different timeline or a different universe all they want cause it doesnt really matter. It wont change the fact that they wrote GT to be a continuation of the Z story

And GT was retconned to be an alternate timeline when DBO came out because Toryiama wanted Majin Waifus to be a thing. DC retconns things all the time, just go with the flow.

He is really not, regardless of how GT was designed, it is now an alternate timeline, and while we can't tell when the split between timelines happened, it is a fair assumption it was before the events of BoG, because no mentions to SSJ God, the whole "Well, SSJ God didn't exist yet" is a meta answer to that, and meta answers don't justify in story.

don't forget the events of DBO, which toryiama went on record to say was the canonical continuation of DBZ. Buu made Majins in 790, GT happened in 789, which voids GT right there as a direct continuation of the Z line, but it can be an alternate line no problem.

This is what happens when you compare GT character to Z characters. You get people like me who while dislike GT can accept it for what it is and I can talk about it rationally. I am also not a Z or Akira Toryiama fanboy. As far as I'm concered Toryiama has lost it and has now become the George Lucas of anime.

Then you have the people that hate GT and dont understand it and 9 time outa 10 have never even watched the entire series. They have blind fanboyism to Toryiama and Z and think whatever Toryiama does is the best thing in the world and will defend him to the end of the world.

The evidence is clear GT > Z in terms of power levels, Beerus stands no chance vs the top tier GT characters and never will. If you dont wanna accept that then you know thats your problem.
Please think of this next time you start a Z Character vs GT Character thread.

She was actualy 110 years old at that point. She was 9 at the beginning of GT. Fun fact: Bra is actually a year younger than pan. Yep, those guys who's car was destroyed by Vegeta were hitting on his 8 year old daughter. In that context, I think he showed superhuman restraint.

Well I don't hate GT. I've seen all of GT. I'm no Z or GT fanboy considering that DB is my favorite of the three. Yes their base levels did rise but the fact still reminds that Beerus is so strong that his powerful can only be felt by someone on par with him example SSG Goku who's power level couldn't be sensed by anyone at the time. Seeing as how they could sense SS4 Gogeta's power level I'm going to have to say tough luck guys go SSG then come back. If anyone is acting like a fanboy it is indeed you sir, a Gogeta fanboy. I said nothing about GT being non-canon because a canon fight between Gogeta and Beerus has yet to happen to my knowledge. Also I wasn't looking at it in terms of "GT characters vs Z characters" which is why I spoke the way I did. No Beerus isn't one of my favorite character, my favorite characters would all get their butts kicked by Gogeta since they are guys like Yamcha & Raditz to name two. I wouldn't say I'm an AT fanboy seeing as how I haven't read or watched anything else he created (Jaco, Dr. Slump, etc.). We were all giving opinions and I feel I supported mine pretty well whether you agreed or not. Isn't it beautiful when fans can come together and rage at each other about something they both like :') lol

This. Didn't mean to bump an old thread but reading this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spreading across the internet is just terrifying.

You cannot compare GT characters to Z ones because they are stupidly overpowered in terms of Power Levels. SS4 Gogeta is the strongest being in GT he would kill Beerus and Whis with his arms amputated. And no i'm not a gogeta fanboy (i like vegito tho) it's just fact, i watched the whole GT series and seeing how omega shenron was beaten up by gogeta is indescribable.

Honestly? it's been an year, and with the developments we had in Dragon Ball Super, Beerus was retconned into went from "a bit stronger than Super Saiyan God" to "10x Kaioken Bluper Saiyan Goku is still nothing to him and Champa", it became clear he is now "as strong as the plot needs him to be" instead of some arbitrary measure, so now I can certainly say Beerus is stronger simply because the plot would need him to be stronger.
