Leveling up friendships fast?

I'm currently trying to level up Cell to get Perfect Kamehameha, but his friendship meter goes up SO DAMN SLOWLY. Any way to make it go by faster? I tried using the skill he taught me, tried putting him in my missions (Final and perfect cell), and even doing cell exclusive missions (missions that are related to cell). Any tips to make it go up faster?

Don't bother with the cell exclusive missions, just spam PQ 1 or something

Do PQ 15
Make sure you have both a perfect and full power cell on your team
Beat up Frieza
Get S or Z rank depending on if the time patroller shows up or not.
Enjoy free dragon balls from time to time.

You have to equip cll related skills and use them a lot

Only thing I know is talking to them after every mission gives a bonus, I've seen that talking to them when they have no question mark and give no item and right after it will show up so it definitely gives something.

im curious, do you HAVE to equip and use there skills?

You don't need to do any of there skills. lol

All you need to do is talk to them each time after a battle. PQ 01 like the guy said.

I did this plenty of times to speed up the mentors.

BTW: it takes 5 battles to move to the next thing. Which usually is another item they give until then. So battle once go talk and every 5 times they either go to skill or drop an item on ya.

No,you don't HAVE to,but people say the relationship bar increases faster if you use them,but I think it is unnoticeable

ALRIGHT CONFIRMED BEST WAY PQ15! Dragon Balls drop like a mofo, as do hercule things, and its an easy fdight to do. Deff worth doing it with PQ15.
