What PQ are you farming? From what I've experienced, low level PQs barely increase the friendship bar, while higher level PQs (such as PQ53, you can complete it in about 30s), will increase it much, much faster.
-Speak with him everytime you re-appear into Tokitoki
-Bring him as an ally in PQ and fight (PQ work better)
-Use his skills
-Kill the more possible foes (going in a quest with lot of foes is good)
-Having a high rank in the said PQ
If you do all that it should increase quite a lot, as you already know you master comment at the end of your PQ, he also do when PQuing with you and when you kill someone. So actually your objective is to make him speak as much as possible. (spamming him in Tokitoki does not work)
He keeps giving me his 'good job' monologue during the PQ, and I've generally been S ranking or Z ranking the PQ... plus, since its a pose and requires no ki to use, I actually did PQ #53 where you have no enemies to start with, and I did the pose 25 times in a row... and yet I havent seen even a slight increase...
What my thought process is is that I am supposed to be doing his fetch quest, but he hasn't given it to me... maybe its bugged?I guess i could try switching mentors and switch back to him again... but idk if it will help
"your not going to enjoy this.....He is not your king" :P
Those of you saying "It's a grind, it's supposed to take a while" that is not the issue. It is not increasing AT ALL. It is NOT that it is slow, it is that it isn't moving even a little bit. Yes, did multiple PQs both high level and low level, story quests, spamming his move, bringing him along, Even farmed up a whole set of dragon balls thinking he was just a slow grind, nothing moves it AT ALL.
Very interested to hear if anything fixed this for you OP.
Switching out mentors fixed my issue. I can't remember what I did exactly... it's been so long. I think I switched back to Piccolo or mastered a different mentor. Then came back to Ginyu and he was unbugged.
Still, I find it interesting that even after all this time, someone else experienced the same bug. See guys? I am NOT crazy.
Well, this three-years-old topic just answered the doubt I had. =D
This goes to show it's always good to update topics you create with solutions, once you find them. ; )
My thanks to Devin and Pericles. =)
