i'm the strongest on earth Z soul

having a really hard time with this one. I have gone through attack of the saiyans probably 30 times and I just can't get it to drop.
I get to the point where nappa and raditz come back, vegeta wakes up, etc. I beat everybody in the mission with ultimates, I have Z ranked it like 10 times...
I even got the battle suit drop like 8 times...

is there just something specific i need to do?

Not to my knowledge. This game is pure RNG on the drops. The only thing you have to do is make sure you kill the character that drops whatever you are after. While I didn't have quite as bad of luck on getting that z-soul, it did take me a few tries to get it. All I can say is keep at it.

You need to not use any people when you go on the mission. You have to go solo, get the ultimate to proc at the end and win, it should give it too you. I did what you did probably 20 times, I decided to go solo and got it my first try. Don't know if it's RNG or intended. Try it out.

hey, had a lot of probs on dat soul too, after feeled 200 times i got it:

first kill the planty, than kill radditz, move to next field and kill the 2 plantys be4 u kill nappa. after that head to capsule corp. and fight against vegeta(grapplemove as finisher worked for a drop for me)

after u killed vegeta, event happens and radditz and nappa appear agai, shortly after that, vegeta revive again. kill nappa and raditz and then vegeta again with a grapplemove.

vegeta droped boh times i grappled him (block + ki-burst button). idk which drop was the soul but i guess no1 cares aslong it works^^ hope it´ll help u

The drop is random, but you get not after defeating vegeta, but as soon he says the phrase "im the strongest or something" a EQUIP AQUIRED message will pop up then you know you got it..

so if he got up and you didn't get the message, just restart.

Btw this is true for all Z-Souls that are sayings, like Frieza's, they simply drop when he says the phrase (at certain life %) if he said and the "Equip got" didn't show up, restart and try again.

This is wrong. I did it with people helping.

It's seriously just RNG, guys. You get it when Vegeta stands back up- It should say "You got Equip!" if it dropped. If it didn't, just try again.

I always do it solo.

I will keep grinding it out until I get it then. as long as I am not wasting my time by missing a key step like "kill him with only punches" or something.
I know other drops are highly conditional, so i thought this was maybe one of them

The game is pure RNG on the drops and even the event triggering. Pretty BS to me, but that prolongs the game.

alright so i got it.
I stopped using my character and switched to god goku just to try it out. got it right away.

I don't know if this made a difference, but anyone else out there having trouble should try it. might be the key, might be luck, but it is worth a shot to find out

Really, it's all random. I got it on my 2nd try with my custom character.

side note, do you have to complete the quest to get the item? or can you quit as soon as it drops?
I am working on the one for videl and gohan. "i... im ok"
It still hasn't dropped for me, but the mission can be brutally hard if you mess up or get caught by a stray super kamehameha (I have gone from full health to KO in about 5 seconds because I got clipped by the first one, and 2 more followed almost perfectly timed)

the first 2 fights are yamcha, picallo, tien, android 18 and krillin, then videl, hercule and buu.
I can finish them all in less than 5 minutes, and i know videl is the one who drops it, so can i just grind that first bit over and over until it drops, then quit? or do i have to finish the whole thing?

Omg im so happy, finally got it!!! Did it solo atleast 20 times, then another 10 as God Goku... Was getting really annoyed, thought I'll just cheese for the last go and move onto something else... Played as my guy, alongside 2 goku gods. Finally got it...

I'd recommend having 2 ppl with you, just to help get to last stage a bit quicker.

Congratulations! I know the feeling. It took me 30 or so runthroughs to get it, and then later my save got wiped, so I'm just going with Piccolo this time. Enjoy your Final Flash!~

Piccolo is the best bang for your buck. special beam cannon is my favorite general purpose ulitmate. once I get the super kamehameha then i will retire it, but for now i run symphonic destruction and SBC

He said the "i am the strongest saiyan the world has ever known" EVERY single time i do this map. Yet i only just now got the Z-soul. so i feel the sayings are redundant

aight, i got it after a few tries actually trying, but now, ive got it and nothing happens after i go to Vegeta.
