About deleting a character...

Do I lose everything that I got if I delete a character? All items, clothes, skills? I want to start over level 1, but with all items and stuff... I don't wanna go into the RNG to get everything again... Thanks!

remove your items and souls then delete. you keep em. but you could always get 7 dragon ball and ask to be reborn which resets your stat points so you can re distribute them. also if you finished the story mode you unlock the part to make new characters.

When I did it the game kept me right where i left off, except I was a level one character.

Dequipping isn't needed, you can delete with your stuff on and it'll be in your inventory again

Thanks!!! Do I also need to do all mentors training I have done again? I want to delete the character to change the name, as there is no other option...

No, you'll be with the same mentor you had before deleting, so if you maxed out Vegeta and were with him, you'll be with him as a Lv.1 as well as the relationships with your other mentors intact.
Seems like they made the inventory and all play data as part of your profile data, separate from character data, which is pretty cool.

no every thing stays the same. only diff is the character. hell you can get a lvl 70 goku trainer and go lvl 1 and still have him but i dunno if you could lvl up the mentor thing hahahaha
