It increases your Damage, makes you a bit faster, and allows you to use Stamina moves without cost (cause Kaioken is draining it).

Actually x20 also gives you free Escape Skill use as well.
If you spam Angry Shout (an escape skill) you can ;P
x3 is +9.8% damage to physical moves and some boosted speed
x20 is +9.8% damage to physical moves, boosted speed, and infinite stamina acitons (evasion, vanish, flying, etc) similar to how SSJ gives unlimited Ki actions.
Angry Shout + Stamina Regen skill (always forget the name) + some other good moves...
Help me out here people, this might be a thing for an Earthling build after I finish the story
An odd little trick for decently fast stamina regen (at some risk) is to run your stamina all the way out, Dash until dry at the of Kaioken. You can't use stamina moves while its refilling but its about the fastest recharge rate I can find AND you can do normal Ki Blasts while its filling (unlike normal where even Ki Blasts will halt stamina regen).
Its a far more complex cycle to fill Ki for Strike Ult kinda-ish spam.
I think this deserves a name and a new thread....
I just got angry shout, coupled with rise to action i am hoping i can maintain my kaioken for ages i have 100 stamina, and intend to divide the rest into super strike and basic attack with a bit in health. 3 ki bars is a bit small but with angry shout i am hoping i can keep filling them rapidly.
Appearance: Min height, Max weight. You can go max height instead of min height if you favor health over speed, or have something against height challenged people. I prefer speed as I can pursue hits and continue combos fairly easily. Also the vanish/escape move spam of Kaioken x20 is really good.
Stat build:
Pump everything into Stamina and Basic ATK. Health for the remaining points.
Skills:
Kaioken x20
Fighting Pose J
Fighting Pose E (planning to swap this out with something better if I find it)
Afterimage (IMO one of the best moves ever, doesn't use ki and counters ki attacks and slow escape moves easy)
Ultimates can be anything since they're not really used.
I have |Savior has come| ultimate to tank or agrro while in Kaioken x20.
Generally you want skills that don't consume ki.
Escape skill:
Explosive wave (to combo after successful hit).
Psychic Escape (very fast and reliable reset of situation).
Gear:
Generally find gear to up basic attack and stamina. atm, I have the Kid Chi Chi set. Android 16 set works as well.
As for Z-soul, I use "You can't win.": Potential unleashed Gohan's Z-soul. Activates when health is max. Just Guard activates, and when Ki is full, large increase to attack power is gained.
Couple key points:
You want Ki at full ALL the time. The damage buff from the Earthling passive is more than Kaioken. Add the "You can't win" Z-soul and you have even more damage. Kaioken x20 just gives you the benefit of vanish/escape move spam, essentially unlimited stamina while it's up.
Here's my general strategy with this:
Pop Kaioken x20 in the beginning. Proceed to combo and extend with vanishes. Preferrable use combos that hit the opponent horizontally. i.e. Dash X,X,X,X, Vanish (A), Y,Y,Y,Y,Y ... and so forth. If the enemy uses their escape move and is reactable, cancel into Afterimage. For the ones you cant react, use your own escape skill and proceed to combo.
Keep your eye on the stamina meter when it drains. End your combo string with Fighting Pose J, and buffer in a dash right after (hold left trigger and a direction). This will put you into stamina regen state. You cannot block, or dash in this state. However, you can still use Afterimage and fire ki blasts, all while stamina is regenerating. If you aren't in this state and messed up, pop kaioken x20 to try again. Reason why is because if you still have stamina (bar is green) regen doesn't happen while attacking or dashing. Stamina also regenerates faster in the gray state.
While your stamina is in the gray state, I just strafe and fire ki blasts. Using after image if a ki blast is going my way.
Once your stamina fully regens, pop Kaioken x20 again and repeat the process all over.
Reason why I didn't get Super or Hyper Drain is because they use up your Ki meter which is counter productive. Also, you can't combo into them after you include a vanish in your combo. You'd have to reset and start a new combo.
The biggest flaw in this build is when your stamina empties and you are in grey state. You might want to increase the distance between you and your opponent on your last combo string. So maybe investing in an escape move that launches you far back after you launch them would be ideal. Also Psychic Escape gets out for free since it's hard to react to and can't be escape skilled through. Luckily it just resets the situation.
where the heck do people keep getting that height and wieght effect stats lol
Looks pretty fun. I might give it a try!
Its rise to action to regen stam
