Local 2 Player

So does anyone know how to make the second player in Offline Battle be an actual second person? (Or in some cases a possible training/test dummy.)

I've seen it in YouTube videos before where it will actually show P2 Press Start, like any other game would. I expected maybe you could make it so if you have a controller plugged in P1 = controller, and then press Enter on the keyboard for Player 2. This does not seem to be the case however. By default the P1/P2 keybindings are the same well, tried changing them but doesnt seem to work.

Works for me, but only when i talk to the NPC using the keyboard (so the game sets to keyboard control), then use Spacebar to select P1 with keyboard. Then i can press Start on my xbox controller and play as P2 with it.

Offline battle is only vs cpu.
