It's anime, bro. Also you cannot tell how hard he tried to hit Bulma. He obviously tried to knock Goku out, as they were legit fighting. Maybe he just wanted to get Bulma out of the way, not actually wanting to hurt her that much?

This about this you guys. I know I'm a bit late but still. Think about it. Energy is transferred when two objects interact. Ie everything that you touch you share energy with. Same principle as how you can melt a ice cube with your hand because you're sharing your heat with the ice and it's sharing it's coldness with you until your hand get's colder and the ice get's warmer. Basically, now this is probably just my own headcanon. But what if everytime Bulma kissed Vegeta energy was shared. And they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or else Trunks wouldn't be around and she wouldn't currently be pregnant with Bra. And that in my opinion shares energy. So she's obviously far more powerful then your average human come to think about it considering that she's married to Vegeta.
Additionally Beerus could've killed Goku if he felt like it. He had more than enough power to do that. Yet he has enough control of himself to not do so. Tho that's a far greater degree of control needed to not kill Bulma, why wouldn't a god have that control?
