Starts with black screen

Than I open Dragon Ball Xenoverse it's only shows black screen. I can ALT+SHIFT it, but nothing works. I can shut it down with ALT+F4 or with task manager, but it won't start. Help plz... My drivers are fully updated.

I'm in the same boat you're in. This game has worked perfectly since the day I bought it and all of a sudden, when I start the game, it's stuck on a black screen. I restarted PC, tried opening as admin, and checked my GPU. In addition, before I restarted my PC, I received an error message saying that steam couldn't connect to the steam icloud. I restarted my PC and the error disappeared, but the black screen still persists.

I fixed it. Go to xenoverse in your game library, right click, properties, local files tab, verify integrity of game Cache. Let it do its thing, then try startnig the game again.

just worked for me fine. game was working fine and i was just trying to reset the controls since it wouldnt let me set controls to default and the down dpad button wouldnt work. so i uninstalled this game and re installed and and then had a blank screen AND my settings were all the same, googles how to delete game settings for hours and couldnt find anything. So find out this actually works for fixing the blank screen AND resetting controls

you have to enable hidden files because it is hidden by default. just go to view at the top and check the hidden files box. then go into the c/users/appdata/dbz xenoverse folder and just delete the files in that folder.
