Z rank in story missions

So I am very anal about Z ranking everything I can. So I am replaying the story mode to attempt to Z rank everything. I am on Attack of the Saiyains, specifically the Nappa/Vegita fight. I can not get higher then a B on this. I can beat the mission in a little under over 2 minutes but can not break the B rank.

Any tips on how to up my score?

Funny you mention, I'm having the same problem on that level.

I play it Solo, beat it in under 2 minutes, kill all Saibamen first so none escape, and get an Ultimate Finish... Still B rank.

Not sure what to do to trigger a better score here. O.O

I literally mean the story mission. You can replay them in the "time vault" area of the Supreme Kai's area.

Finish enemies with Ultimates, finish the battle transformed, which includes Kaioken, don't get hit, do high hit combos, don't waste time. Basically, get accolades at the end of the missions.

Alternatively, get the hell over not having an optimal rank, because it literally doesn't do anything to get a high rank on the story missions.

I got an "A" on it, maybe because I tried many many times and also picked a bunch of items located with the scouter. Maybe try that.

started to play this game and stucked in the very same mission trying put all Z rank
the best thing i can do is a S
except for the two mission based criteria (green title) ive got 4 criterias
one for 3 throws
one for hit 5 ultimate attacks
one for more than 20 hits combo
and one for health more than 80% (its complicate not been hit at this point of the game cuz lack of stamina)
this stage is weird as i cant get criteria for never ko'ed or winning less than 3 minutes for example
probably need to obtain at least 5 side criterias (white titles) to Z rank this particulary mission
i didnt find all the criterias but this is what i had obtained, the more you got, higher the points and final rank

unbeatable never ko'ed
lead vanquisher most enemy kill (party)
lead attacker most damage (party)
treasure hunter +loot 5 items
no sweat +health 80%
grappler +3 throws
combo adept +20 hits
ultimate user +5 ultima attacks
utima finish last enemy with ultima
master exhibitionist +kill 5 with ultima
expert specialist +kill 5 special attack
master vanquisher +10 kills
conqueror defeat a strong enemy
quick win win -3 min

basically try to use every attack you have each battle, that includes non super/ultimate. Anything from knockback kick to basic ki blast, and ofc try to combo them!

just get the z rank in this mission by adding 5 evades criteria in those 4 i cited before

Try getting a Z Assist with your Ultimate Finish, if it happens it will boost your score enough for at least a S.

So if you still haven't figure it out. I just got a Z-rank for it today. Basically you just need to use your super-moves 10+ times, 80% health, 80% accuracy, and 20+ combo. I basically did this by spamming a super strike since my super strikes don't do any damage, then for 20+ combo i just use full power enery blast volley (cheapist way to get the minium 20 after a normal combo). This strategy has pretty much worked for me in every story & PQ quest. Granted some will get bonuses for using ult's a bunch of time, among other requirements. If you're getting stuck though at an S-rank, try adding these on top and they should help for those last 100 points.

In Time Vault , Untouchable is a way to get Z

In PQ , it is possible to get Z without meeting all conditions

Not sure if Untouchable get you Z on PQ too
