PSA: Getting Super Saiyan from the Legendary Super Saiyan Quest is not that random.

You just have to trigger Goku going super saiyan. On the DBXV subreddit someone posted instructions.

You simply have to kill everyone as they appear until Goku and Krillin appear. Then take Goku down to about 25% health, then kill Krillin. Give goku a minute and he will start saying the same thing as when he originally goes super saiyan the first time and transform. Usually at this part is where you actually are given the skill. Then just beat him and you have super saiyan.

Ton's of people are reporting this works myself included.

Odd. Thought Goku going Super Saiyan was a 50/50 chance after you killed Krillin first. Either way, the drop is pretty low. Better to just do the 'Super Vegeta' trick and get both that way. Still, thanks for letting everyone know.

Nope, goku just needs to be weakend to trigger super saiyan. Also super vegeta is great if you spam ki attacks, but regular super saiyan is better for melee attacks. I suppose if you just want yellow hair sure.

Super Saiyan Legend. On that quest kill off all of the goons (Apple and such), then don't fight Frieza when he appears. Instead fly to his ship, head inside and bring out Krillin. Let him die to Frieza. Following that Goku should appear, go Super Saiyan and then start to fight. Help him until Frieza transforms. Vegeta should appear, Frieza will transform again and then you have to kill him before Vegeta dies. Don't let Goku die either.

Vegeta will throw a hissy fit, turn 'Super Vegeta' and attack you. Kill him. RNG will give you Super Saiyan, Super Vegeta and other stuff.

Did exactly as you said Orpheus, Vegeta appeared - we all killed Frieza, and that was it.
No hissy fitting Vegeta and no SSJ for me.. :|

Did you wait till he transformed? Depending on how fast you fight him, Frieza will attempt to go Full Power early or later. You have to let him. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is let Vegeta get hurt a bit, or that it's random. It happened first try for me.

Yeah tried it three times yesterday.
He always goes 100% (I think thats a certainty).
First I killed him myself, and then I thought that might be wrong.
So I did it 2 more times and one of them killed him both times.

Plus, I dont think you can get normal SSJ that way, it doesnt appear in the base rewards..

Works for me with Goku at about 50% health. Just work him over, then kill Krillin. He'll go SS. I didn't get him before because, surprisingly, Krillin died too fast.

Guys there is no secret formula here. Its completely random, you just have to kill krillin, gokus health doesn't matter. Sometimes he turns ssj and other times he doesn't. Also this quest is not worth grinding for ssj. Just do quest 16.

Kill frieza's minions, then he comes out then get krillin from his ship, let him kill krillin and goku goes ssj. Kill friza and super vegeta shows up. You have better chance to get ssj from this quest and it takes less time.

Search for lobbies, most people playing this is doing it for the items.

i wasted ~5h trying get SSJ from PQ14... after second try i got Super Vegeta from PQ16... with Super Vegeta and Vegeta soul +3 to his move's i spammed a lot @ offline story mode (Bing Bang when activated Super Vegeta) till Beerus fight (to stroong).
If you done this (around 2h) and come back to shop (lvl ~40) you can buy SSJ and SSJ2 (100k)... i farmed ~400k cose nothing special you can buy from the shops from the beggining....

^also, PQ16 can be done easly offline, just remember to get krillan from Ship when Freeza arive, when u came back, he will die instantly... than some easy fights and Vegeta turnz enemy, party offline is so strong, killing him is easy as hell, and comparing to PQ14 when u getting mad cose goku dont turn SSJ randomly. Skip this sh*t.
