Can you play this Offline?

Hi, I have a really big problem with my Internet Connection right now and is wondering if I could play this game offline. If I could, would it still be good?

You can play offline but there is no Ai difficulties options for offline battles though. The default Ai is sort of bad. I'm not sure if Ai get better as you go on. I asked this before in another thread but have yet received a confirmation.

You can do all the story and quest content offline. They even provide characters you can 'hire' along with the preset chars to select from for parallel quests.

ai does get much better as you go on,

Yes, I've been playing Offline for awhile now. The AI is fine in my Opnion.

But I'm concerning the offline battle mode (where you can choose between 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3). Does the AIs in that mode get better as you go on in the main story?
