So right now I am of the opinion the hair stays the same shape that you give your character in creation.
edit: pax beat me to it :p
True, but rumor mill has it there won't be a DBXV2, if there is might just be a huge dlc pack 2-3yrs down the road. Guess it all depends on how well DBXV does though. Downside to a standalone DBXV2, we would probably lose the characters we spent time leveling in DBXV. That is if they make the 2nd version standalone from the current. The other option is a true expansion to the existing game, but that depends on whether the current engine can support the additions. Which means they would have to tweak the game engine if it requries it. Either way is do-able, but I would rather it be a true expansion to the game so I can keep my characters, or have a character transfer system in place to move DBXV custom characters to DBXV2. But I'm not against re-leveling characters, just find it tedious to restart characters I spent time leveling and gearing. Only time will tell.
The thing about a true exapnsion. It would work well on computers but consoles might have an issue especially the PS3/Xbox360 depending on the space left on the hard drives and hard drive size. Of course by the time they decide what to do Sony and Microsoft will probably be trying to phase the PS3/Xbox360 out or they will already be phased out.
I agree on all points. The character transfers would be tricky and risky. So that idea would probably have to be scrapped.
I hope they decide to support DBXV for a few years or until they decide if they are going to make a DBXV2.
back to topic: The main issue I see, is all the hair styles need to be animated/programed to go to ssj 1-2 forms. That isn't easy to do. My guess would be if they tried it or started working on hair transformations at one time and postponed the idea, they would still have the programming from that time. So they could go back to it and finish it. The downside is, all hair options for male and female saiyans would have to be animated or rather have the animation added to them. It would take sometime. Would also have to take into account that any hair options added through DLC would need this done to them as well. But, I don't see why it couldn't be done.
Either way, as long as the gameplay is enjoyable I can probably make due without the hair transformations. Although, at the same time I would like that little extra detail lol.
What about that facial hair you get to choose during mouth/jaw customisation, does that change colour when you turn super saiyan?
