What does Unlocked Potential do?
It has been out for awhile, but I haven't seen any discussion on what benefits it provides. It seems to drain Ki to a minor extent. Does it boost strikes? Ki blasts? basic attacks? How does it shape up to Kaioken?

Mixed w/ Golden Frieza's z-soul it lasts forever and allows you to gain ki and stamina at an even faster rate than if you never had it on. It's broken w/ those two combined.

Unlock Potential is a transformation similar to what people (me included) wanted Super saiyan to be. You spend a little bit of ki while transformed and all attacks and moves that use ki will spend it normally. The buff it gives is an all stats increase, but I do not know how much it increases things.

I tested the healing factor of my Namek and it doesn't seem to increase healing which is good. I already get that buff from the z-soul. Any more would be broken.

it boosts all attacks by about 10%, boosts defense by about 2%, and boost stamina regen by about 20%. it also stacks with other buffs, and multiplicitly increases their effects. with "guess we should fuse into vegitto" prepare to be punished and elite pose, it gains a 60% increase to ALL damage. with mach dash, it gains an aditional 10-20% speed increase. with "my ki is overflowing" you gain MASSIVE defense. and with fighting pose F, its nearly impossible to break your stamina bar.

it was able to activate multiple times the first 24 hours or so of the DLC release. they have been nerfing moves and zsouls server side however (regardless of what people think, very little of this game is actually p2p.) since then. now it can only activate its zsoul buff with 1 transformation and 1 buff, but the next buff still applies if its different (as prepare to be punishes is different technically from all other buffs), and is still increase multiplicitively by the existing buffs from the zsoul, and UP. including mach dash. it wont activate a 3rd time, but both the zsoul, and UP, add an increase to mach dashes speed buff, as well as all other buffs.

(ps, there's nothing server side, beside Toki-Toki interactions. You can make/modify Z-souls to be stupidly OP by yourself, if you have the knowledge... they'll work even if you're not hosting the PQ/Match, hence why pvp is stale in DBXV)

there is actually ALOT thats handled server side actually. not sure why everyone seems to think the game is almost entirely p2p. but it was working like this right after the dlc released. it was the first thing i jumped onto when they ruined the arent i nice and might as well zsouls, as well as every single ki super, while buffing nearly every strike super and ultimate. not sure how long it took them to fix that, but at around 6AM america that matters time, until at least 4pm it was working with an additional buff everytime you popped any pose or reinforcment skill.

now it just applies the 2 buffs. you can throw on the ginyu poses for your desired attack as well, but it only ups it by about 5% for some reason. it seems that the buffs from either up, or the zsoul, dont effect the ginyu poses. might be both, i didnt care enough to test it without the zsoul. oddly, even using a ginyu pose first dosent seem to make a difference. it activates the zsoul, but the boost does not apply multiplicitively to the ginyu poses.

keep thinking that just because you read a forum post by some random dude making "guides" that states the game is fully p2p. monitor your internet bandwidth usage son. the majority of this game is server side. you are constantly transmitting and recieving more data from the servers ip than from the others you are connected to. the exact server ip varies with the server you connect to, but it will be the one thats ALWAYS active. in tokitoki and in battles. it even gets MUCH higher in usage, when you are in battles.

test things before you spount nonsense. dont believe everything you read.

I say that not because I "read it in a guide", but because I did and tested it myself, with my own little hand and my own (very) little brain. Why do you think cheating in that game is that easy? Because absolutely all critical parts of the data and calculations are done client-side. All of them.
Test if for yourself if you don't believe it: like giving "Might As Well..." 10 times the Stamina recovery, through sheer client side data editing. So much for server sided stuff, heh?

ahh you misunderstood there. all of those things are considered player stats. the vast majority of the information being sent however is positional data, and data on exactly what you are doing. which is handled by the server.
