I want a second chance at life! Wish observation. What is going on here?

So each character's pie chart represents their stats, and I had a look at my character's pie chart before making this wish. Weirdly, when I made my wish, I got back all 237 points I'd spent up until then, but my chart hadn't changed, and grew when I added in the points. Just to make sure I was looking at this correctly, I made a new character to have a good look at their starting pie chart. So now I'm wondering what exactly changed here. Is this just a glitch or is this a deal similar to reincarnation in Disgaea, where the reset subtly increased the character's power?

Testing the character in some old PQs, it's hard to tell the difference.

(Just to clarify, I have this game on Xbox, not steam. Steam just happened to be open at the time. ^_^)

As you level up, your character gains points on each stat plus giving you 3 points to allocate wherever you like. So even if you are not using your points, the character stats will grow slightly per level. Of course, you can only allocate the points you are given. The rest of the character stats is based on level, clothing, character width and height.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks. :) The disgaea deal would have been pretty sweet, but I can see how that'd get really unbalancing really quick.

Well, cacs are already very unbalanced in relation to roster characters. Stricter caps on all attack power scores could have been nice, while leaving all bar stuff (HP, Stam,ki) the same since the roster characters also have those. Even running a ki blaster build with only 50 to ki blast or a basic attack with 50 to it or even a bit less can totally wreck damage wise most if not all roster characters. This without counting any player skill. Just raw damage numbers.
