Meteor Crash Doubt
Hey so I got this game for some days, created my char and stuff, but just now I realised that meteor crash extending is a thing, well I tried it out myself so here's what I got:

- Meteor crash (without holding down) it's a 9 combo and drains one ki bar

- Meteor crash (holding down) it's a 14 combo and drains one and a half ki bar (Oh and btw I hold it down until the skill is over with all ki bars full)

Can someone explain me how does one burn 3 ki bars to extend the combo even more? This is really starting to bug me and I'm sorry if this is a noobish doubt or something.

Infinite ki as ssj for instance. It goes as long as 3 bars then.

Well I tried that, when I read it and saw that you can spend more ki I tried it without going SSJ which didn't work and then I tried SSJ which didn't work either, it's like impossible, the longest I can get is a 14 combo out of it with 1 and a half bar, it's pretty wierd, I might be doing something wrong, but I keep the buttons pressed (RT + Y xbox controller) and it just stops...

Plus I saw some videos and people are able to do it without going SSJ.

Thats strange, maybe has sth to do with races/gender but other than that I have no idea.

Which chars do you have? Like what race and gender? Does it work for you? I have a female Saiyan and as shown it doesn't work very well.

I've had the same problem.

Do you have a solution or...?

The description of the attack says to keep pressing the button for Meteor Crash. It can be a bit misleading, but you can try it out. Or, it might burn 3 bars, because they are comboing into it.

I've tried pressing the both button combination to meteor crash, I tried pressing only Y (which is the button of the meteor crash) and pressing only RT (which is the thingy that shows the supers to use them after) none of them work, plus the videos I've seen it's just like throwing only a meteor crash and getting a huge combo out of it just by using it, and it burns the 3 bars, this is quite strange, I don't know if it has to do with races/gender as someone previously mentioned or what...

Doesn't have anything to do with that.

On my Freeza race I get a 21 hit combo and it spends 3 ki bars.
EDIT: Tested also on my fe-saiyan and got the 31 hit comb once, but also got a 25 hit combo. All attempts used up 3 ki bars.

Hmmm... I find it really wierd why I can't accomplish that then :/

Another thought: Does it have to do with your char level?

Nope. Definitely doesn't have anything to do with your char level. This must be a bug. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, perhaps? Or it might do with your character weight. I mean when you do Meteor Crash, you do it at intense speeds. And depending what race/character/weight, you can have a slower movement speed. Even Z-Souls matter. Do you have a slow character? If not, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

I wouldn't call it slow, it's a regular saiyan, female and a bit short, but regular. As for Z-Souls I don't have any like GODLIKE Z-Soul, I think I have the "Don't underestimate Earth" one. Hmm.. Dang reinstalling the game is a pain in the ass tho, kinda wanted to be sure if it's a bug or not, anyway thanks for trying to solve this for me. Maybe a little bit of more brainstorming would be good, I just wished the Devs were active on this forum.

I find that some abilities actually extend/work better or worse depending on your framrate. Before milky cannon was patched, launching the attack at 30 fps would cause it to explode multiple times. Try using meteor crash with 30 fps.
