Dragonballs Level Up question.

Well, questions I suppose. I heard you can only use a wish to level up once. Is that per account, or per character?

Also, how does it work exactly in terms of experience? Let's say, for example, you're level 90 and you only need 5000 more exp to hit 91. Would wishing to level up put you at 91 with 5000 exp to go before 92?

Or does it just give you whatever exp you need toward the next level and start you over, like you'd go to 91 and need the 1.2mil exp toward the next level?

The safest bet would be to just make the wish right after you gain a level...but in my case, I need like 600,000 exp and I feel like by continuing to do The Return of the Giant Ape-Fest! 6 or 7 more times while maxed out on dragonballs, I'm wasting opportunities to collect more.

I hear tell that 98->99 takes significantly more XP to level than any other level, so you should save it for that.

Every level beyond 85 takes 1.1 mil to 1.5 mil exp to level up. Use it any time after 85 really, unless ur really picky about that last 100k or so

1.25 million per level from 85+ that I've seen. I don't know if it's true, because I'm 97, but I've heard that 98 to 99 is significantly more, like 20 million or something. It could be a lie, I'm curious to confirm or deny it.

I've heard horrible things about 99 grinding

Anyway if you fork up the cash for DLC 3 you get to skip three levels for free once you're at least at 93.

it takes a total of ~30million xp to get to level 99. just use cheat engine. grind for the skills and items if you wanna grind.

Well, I mean, for me personally, I'm level 97, I haven't used my wish for a free level yet, and I have literally everything in the game except for Unlock Potential. So there's not anything left to grind for. I'll get to level 98 naturally, see how much XP it takes, and if it's some ludicrous figure, I'll just use Shenron to skip it.

Wellp, already used it for my main. Guess he's not getting to level 99. xD I'll save it on my other level 85 guy, so I'll have a 98 and a 99.

Hm...does anyone know if Elder Kai's ritual is a set amount of XP, or actually guarantees you 2 levels? I already blew my wish, but I haven't done the ritual yet. Maybe I could save that for when I hit 97, and skip to 99?

So based on data from this post, 98 to 99 is definitely, 100% either 30 million, 5 million or 1.4 million XP. xD
