XBox 360 controller won't control the camera

Hey guys. I was just playing through XV1 again in preparation for finally getting XV2. This time, I decided to use my new (old) XBox360 controller that I got for another game and give it a shot with the controller instead of mouse and keyboard.

After about an hour, I finally got Steam to realize it HAD a controller registered and everything works...EXCEPT the right analogue stick. I can't seem to control the camera at all with the controller, which obviously is a problem. The mouse seems to still control the camera, but I can't figure out if this is normal (i.e. if mouse/keyboard controls remain even when the controller is being used) or if there's some way to disable them while playing the game. I tried turning the mouse upside down, to see if it was superceding the right analogue, but it didn't seem to do anything. Of note (I don't know if this is relevant), whenever I go into the controller settings in game, it always starts by saying Keyboard and I have to press right to get to the controller settings. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, I just kind of assumed it would show the controller settings initially.

I've tried putting x360ce in the Xenoverse folder, to no avail. I haven't tried much els, including trying a new controller. I'll try my roommate's controller when he wakes up and update this thread if that does anything.

In the meantime, any help would be awesome. I know there's been a lot of banter about controller support in this game, and I HAVE Googled this problem, but so far most of what I've seen is basically "pfft, it works for me" and "get x360ce." Suffice to say I have done my due dilligence before starting this thread, but I apologize if I happen to have missed something.

Is normal mouse still working while using ur control.

(Probably) Did u verify version for ur controller driver?
Maybe unistall and re-install driver fix it.

Windows 10, and yes, I did a full reinstall of the controller and it's drivers. I did follow those instructions.

The mouse does seem fully-functional, yes.

More updates:
* I plugged in my roommate's controller. Same issue, no ability to control the camera with the right stick, but everything else worked fine.
* I tried the controller in a game I know it works in: Slime Rancher. Everything worked, including the right stick (which controls the camera in that game just fine)
* I unplugged the mouse altogether to see if the mouse was somehow superceding the controller's ability to control the camera: no go, the controller still did not move the camera.
* I reinstalled the controller and its drivers to no avail. I also checked for Windows 10 updates, none were available.
* I deleted all of my DBXV save data and still nothing.

Did u try setting in-game options for controller? my Camera is: Right -> Z+, Left -> Z-, Up -> RZ- and Down -> RZ+

I don't know what that means. How do I do that? Are you referring to settings in x360ce?

Sorry by late, I means in-game options, u can change settings for controller in-game, go to option, controller settings, swap keyboard to Controller, search ur up, down, left and right and change it
