I tried this and still the biggest resolution I can choose in-game is 1024 x 768 while my monitor is 1680 x 1050.
Does anyone have other ideas I should try. I have turned off scaling in the nvidia control panel and in windows settings everything seems to be default and 100% scaling settings.
But I found this info for Raiden IV:
Supported Resolutions
[16:9] 854x480, 1024x576, 1280x720, 1920x1080
[4:3] 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768
[3:4] 480x640, 600x800, 768x1024
So 1680 x 1050 isn't possible I guess but still I don't know why it scales to fullscreen and not 1024 x 768 with black borders which would be the next best thing. As I have "override scaling by programs" turned off in the nvidia control panel AND that "Override high DPI scaling behaviour" check box checked.
Display Settings
Turn off Custom Scaling and Sign Out.
But honestly, Raiden IV is somehow messed up now from trying different settings I guess.
It will only display in a weird scaled window and nothing changes it. I can't even select full-screen in the settings. it's greyed out (full-screen, I can't select it).
I even uninstalled and re-installed the game twice but it seems to remember it's messed up. Maybe there are some local files I have to delete after uninstalling..I don't know where.
I just spent a lot of time on this again and I can't get fullscreen to work. I give up.
