Most welcome. It's sad these things weren't included as extras. The Book of Drafts is kind of important, but you could just always use a notebook, I suppose, but then there's the loss of flavor.
I think the twisting is in the game, at the beginning, right? I keep a notepad txt file open, file name matching save file name, on my second screen because many of the spells change between playthroughs. A cellphone or tablet is just as good, but so is paper and pen.
I started playing this game again after a few years but I can't find the book of drafts in the store. How do I get it? Do I just type in "loom book of drafts" or something?
Yeah. There were a few that were in the book. I don't recall Tongues, Waterproofing, Folding, or Warmth. Loom was supposed to be the first game in a franchise. LucasArts never continued with this game though.
I noticed the URL for the Book of Patterns was out of date. It's been updated to a working copy. Again it's really more for flavor than actual use. The actual book was printed on cardstock so erasing didn't damage the pages much.
